Leftover Fabric Initiative
At Lovechild 1979 we aim to incorporate as much leftover fabric as we are able in our collections. This gives us the opportunity to find and source excess yardage that is unique and of high quality, giving these last inches of fabric new life.
Leftover fabric refers to unused, surplus textile material from previous production or discontinued stock, so by choosing to use these fabrics in our production, the need for new materials is reduced, decreasing production emissions. We work exclusively with European distributors to ensure the textile meets our standards for quality, composition, and origin, and given the limited yardage, the production is always limited.
